Space Warfare Monitoring

Military analysts seated at workstations with multiple screens displaying radar and tracking data in a darkened operations centre — Advanced cockpit technology mirrors the layered digital systems that power satellite-based space threat detection and early warning networks.

Satellite Space Threat Detection and Warning Flow

1
Sensor constellation
SSA satellites track debris, weapons, manoeuvres
2
Encrypted downlink
Secure Ka-band relay to ground stations
3
Threat fusion centre
AI correlates orbital data, flags anomalies
4
Command authority
Commanders receive tiered conflict alerts

Space situational awareness satellites feed encrypted data through fusion centres to deliver timely threat warnings to military commanders.

Applications

7.7.1 Adversary Satellite Tracking — Continuously cataloguing and characterising every adversary satellite in orbit using a sovereign network of ground-based and space-based optical and RF sensors.
7.7.2 Rendezvous & Proximity Detection — Detecting and characterising when a foreign spacecraft manoeuvres close to, shadows, or physically approaches a sovereign or allied satellite.
7.7.3 Counterspace Threat Assessment — Systematically cataloguing, characterising and ranking the full spectrum of threats — kinetic, directed-energy, electronic, and cyber — that adversaries can bring to bear against a nation's space assets.
7.7.4 On-Orbit Behaviour Forensics — Reconstructing the precise manoeuvre history and intent of any satellite after an on-orbit incident, using multi-source tracking data, RF signatures and optical observation.
7.7.5 Space Indications & Warning — Detecting the earliest observable signatures of hostile action against space assets — jamming, laser dazzle, kinetic preparation, or on-orbit manoeuvring — before an attack reaches its target.
