What we run.
The Bay of Bengal cyclone-genesis tracking constellation entered routine operations in 2024. The micro-constellation revisits the bay multiple times per day with optical, SAR and microwave sensors tuned for early identification of cyclonic-rotation signatures and rainfall-band structure.
The defining feature is the latency budget: imagery is downlinked, processed and pushed to civil-defence operations centres within minutes of overpass — fast enough to feed the evacuation decisions that save lives along the eastern Indian coast and across the Bay's rim.
